Born and raised along the California Coast, Lauren has recently relocated to Southern Oregon to make Ashland and the wine country of the Rogue Valley her new home. Originally pursuing a molecular biology career, Lauren was drawn into the world of wine after graduating from UC Santa Barbara and travelling through Europe and Australia.
Fueled by her late grandfather’s love for the classic regions of Burgundy and Bordeaux, she began exploring all facets of wine & hospitality; ranging from dining rooms of three-starred Michelin restaurants, harvest seasons at wineries spanning both hemispheres, authoring food & wine articles for multiple publications, to professional kitchens. She eventually decided to focus exclusively on wine and began working as a private sommelier, building multi-million dollar wine cellars for an exclusive client list.
After a decade of working with thousands of brands and hundreds of vintages, she found herself wanting to be part of a single wine brand once again. Today, she is the Director of Sales & Marketing at Irvine & Roberts Vineyards, a boutique winery producing high-elevation Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. In her free time, she can be found on the trails of the PCT or kayaking on the near-by lakes and rivers.
