Ron Kornreich is a Chambers-ranked hospitality lawyer and a member of Akerman’s Hospitality Sector Team.

Ron’s clients include owners, operators and developers of hotels, resorts and mixed-use real estate developments across the United States and around the world. Ron advises his clients on all facets of hospitality industry transactions, including management agreements (with both branded and independent operators), franchise agreements, acquisitions and sales of individual hotel assets, portfolios and management companies, joint ventures, financings and branded residential projects. Ron uses his hospitality industry knowledge and real-world experience to provide smart, practical advice to his clients and help them achieve their business objectives.

In addition to his strong concentration in hospitality, Ron focuses on other commercial real estate transactions, including in the multifamily, senior living, student housing, office and retail sectors. He represents real estate sponsors and financial partners in the formation of joint ventures for both development projects and operating assets, including for one-off joint ventures, programmatic relationships, and preferred equity ventures. He also represents buyers and sellers in acquiring and disposing of assets.

A native New Yorker, Ron has lived in both New York and Florida and is admitted to practice in both states.
