Kim has extensive experience in under-served & secondary markets and offers a specialty in boutique hotels. As author of The Boutique Hotel Report, she contributes insight and expertise on independent, lifestyle and soft brand collection lodging. Her work with boutique hotels have resulted in many unique conversion projects including a historic psychiatric hospital, a sizeable power plant and a well-known musician’s home.

As an expert on the boutique hotel sector, Kim writes articles for various publications including Hotel News Now, Boutique Hotel News, Skift and Lodging. Her quotes were recently cited in the Indie Boutique Hotel book by Jeremy Wells.

Kim was 2022 President of the Atlanta Hospitality Alliance and continues to serve as a Board Member. She is also on the Advisory Committee for the Hunter Investment Conference.
