Chip Jenkins, Superintendent of Grand Teton National Park and the John D. Rockefeller Memorial Parkway.

Chip has more than 40 years of experience working in and leading eight national parks, including Yosemite, Mount Rainier National Park, and North Cascades National Park, among others. He has served as a Special Assistant to two NPS Directors at NPS headquarters in Washington DC.  He’s worked in two regional offices, supervising parks in the Pacific Northwest and Rocky Mountains, as well as working in the NPS planning, design, and engineering center in Denver, CO.  Chip’s wife, Laurie, also had a 40-year career with the National Park Service.  They have two sons in their 20’s, both of whom are pursuing careers in public service.  Chip and Laurie love to explore all public lands by hiking, skiing, paddling, biking, and scrambling to high places.
