Paul Devitt joined Aparium Hotel Group as President and Chief Operating Officer in 2025, bringing more than three decades of experience building high-performing operational cultures within some of the most respected hotel companies in the world.

Devitt spent 32 years at Hyatt Hotels Corporation, where he rose to Senior Vice President of Operations for the Americas. In that role, he led performance strategy across managed full-service and select-service properties. He also played a central role in the integration of Two Roads Hospitality, expanding Hyatt’s presence in the independent lifestyle segment, and was instrumental in advancing the company’s food and beverage strategy through concept development and execution, including partnerships with celebrated chefs.

What drew Devitt to Aparium was the opportunity to build something differentiated at scale. He is focused on creating a disciplined operating model that delivers consistent performance while protecting the individuality and local relevance that define each Aparium hotel. His approach centers on strong property-level leadership, clear accountability, and systems that enable teams to execute with both precision and personality.

At Aparium, Devitt leads the development of the operational infrastructure supporting the company’s growth, partnering with property leadership teams to strengthen performance and elevate the guest experience while preserving the independence and character of each hotel. The next phase of growth includes the launch of Aparium For, the company’s management platform for independent and soft-branded hotels, extending Aparium’s operational expertise to a broader set of properties and ownership groups nationwide.

Devitt holds a degree in Hospitality and Tourism from the University of Wisconsin Stout and has held leadership roles with tourism organizations in San Francisco, Orange County, Pittsburgh, Newport Beach, and Huntington Beach. He resides in Wilmette, Illinois, with his wife, Heather, and their two daughters.
