Jason C. Bass is a culture-first hospitality strategist, experience designer, and community builder shaping the future of how people gather, connect, and belong. As National Head of Programming for The Gathering Spot, he leads the creative and strategic vision for member experiences across all club locations, designing events that deepen community, drive revenue, and amplify cultural relevance.
A respected voice in hospitality, Jason has built a career at the intersection of culture, identity, and luxury experiences. His work spans hotels, membership clubs, restaurants, and lifestyle brands—always grounded in the belief that hospitality is most powerful when it reflects the people it serves. Previously, he served as the first Director of Culture and Impact for Hyatt Hotels and Director of Culture & Programming for both Thompson Atlanta–Buckhead and Thompson Dallas, where he pioneered programming frameworks that became industry benchmarks.
Jason is also a multi-hyphenate entrepreneur and creator. He co-authored The Impact Hospitality Handbook, founded Postyfi (an email marketing and automation agency for hospitality and creative brands), co-founded the award-winning Treason Toting Company, and continues to develop community-centered brands and experiences. His work has been featured in Black Enterprise, Travel + Leisure, The Washington Post, Travel Noire, Yahoo News, ABC News, and CBS Saturday Morning.
Across all platforms, Jason champions the Experience Economy and Event-Led Growth—helping brands turn moments into momentum through culturally fluent programming and storytelling. His leadership has earned him numerous distinctions, including the 2024 Georgia Hotel & Lodging Association Community Service Champion Award, the Reginald F. Lewis Museum Maverick Award, and the Indie Hotel Congress Icon of Culture Award.
