Alexis has launched & shaped over 20 independent hospitality brands over the last 15+ years. After starting her career in Los Angeles as a private dining manager on Sunset Boulevard, Alexis moved to Austin to pursue wedding + event production. She co-founded & managed a wedding planning business for 3 years before making the transition back to hospitality as the Events Director for Violet Crown Management. In 2015, Alexis transitioned out of events to focus on brand development and marketing strategy for New Waterloo’s then 7 brands. Since then, she has been pivotal in growing the New Waterloo portfolio to what it is today, which includes 15+ independent hospitality brands and 5 new hotel projects across 4 states. Alexis serves on various committees and boards in Austin and has been instrumental in implementing New Waterloo’s impact platform. Alexis grew up in Fort Worth, Texas and holds a Diplôme d’Histoire de l’Art from La Sorbonne.
