Managing Partner | The Passionality Group

Keith Pierce is managing partner of The Passionality Group, which advises, invests, incubates and grows nascent hospitality brands that invoke genuine passion, represent authentic hospitality innovation and have meaningful potential for growth.

The Passionality Group is focused on growing its portfolio in three complementary verticals: Lifestyle food & beverage, experiential travel and lodging operations. Investments to date include a $120M, select service 8-hotel Northeastern U.S. portfolio; Podshare, a co-living concept; New York City-based, award-winning Wafels & Dinges; Vagabond Coffee and Stockholm Social. Currently incubating a neighborhood lodging collection brand with various locations under development across Los Angeles, Denver and Miami.

Previously executive vice president, global systems operational support for the Wyndham Hotel Group responsible for aligning Wyndham Hotel Group’s information technology solutions with the company’s portfolio of brands and operating teams across the globe.

Prior to taking on this role in January 2015, he served as executive vice president, brand operations, overseeing operational responsibilities for all of Wyndham Hotel Group’s brand portfolio for North America, which includes such well-known names as Wyndham Hotels and Resorts®, Ramada®, Days Inn®, Super 8®, Microtel Inns & Suites®, Howard Johnson® and more. In addition, he was responsible for oversight of the company’s ongoing franchisee support efforts and preferred client services function.

Pierce had previously served as president, brand operations – the Americas, responsible for overall strategy, revenue growth, product quality, global brand standards and customer satisfaction of the company’s Ramada®, Days Inn®, Super 8®, Baymont Inn & Suites®, Microtel Inns & Suites®, Howard Johnson®, Travelodge® and Knights Inn® brands.

A veteran of the company since 1990, Pierce held a number of additional positions, including among others the role of group president, in which he was responsible for the oversight of the company’s Wingate, Ramada, Baymont Inn & Suites, Knights Inn, and former AmeriHost brands as well its preferred client services and event services departments. Other positions have included president of the Wingate brand, vice president of marketing for the Ramada brand and also vice president of marketing for the Wingate brand.

He is based in the Passionality Group’s N.Y. offices.
