Swathi Narra is an entrepreneur, lawyer, investor, creative, mentor, and connector. Currently focused on hospitality and commercial real estate, she is also an owner/developer of three hotels specializing in business travel.

Since he was 19 years old, Dan Ryan has worked in all facets of the hospitality industry, including design, purchasing, and manufacturing. He is the founder and CEO of Beachwood Custom, a company that provides the best custom furniture solutions to the top hotels in the world.

Swathi began her career in the music industry as the chief of staff to Sean “P.Diddy” Combs where she assisted in the strategic planning and coordination of cross-promotional opportunities within Sean Combs’ music, fashion, film, and restaurant entities. She later obtained her J.D. with a focus in entertainment law. Following her legal education and admission to the Bar, Swathi co-founded Luxemi in 2010, a pioneering e-commerce start-up in the fashion rental space, where she led marketing and operations and managed a multi-continent supply chain, while also serving as in-house counsel for six years. She is based in New Orleans and now invests her time and experience in a variety of a hospitality-centric projects in her home state of Louisiana. 

 Swathi has been featured in numerous business and lifestyle publications including Tech Crunch, Buzzfeed, Oprah Magazine, Times of India, Washington Post, Chicago Magazine, Refinery29, Luxe Interiors, Harper's Bazaar India, Town & Country, & Apartment Therapy.

Favorite place to stay when traveling:
Any property that pushes the design conversation forward and also meets the fundamental requirement of a hotel stay which is a good night's sleep. 

MUST have travel item:
A phone charger and a good attitude

Biggest extravagance or vice:
Travel, specifically my last trip to Japan. 

Who in your industry inspires you:
Kelly Wearstler for her boldness & Liz Lambert for her vision.

First job:
I sold Cutco knives in high school and I stand behind the product. My mom still uses hers! 

Who would play you in a movie?
Can I say myself? In addition to harboring dreams of becoming a Popeyes brand ambassador, I'm also looking to become the middle-aged breakout star of a Netflix show entitled "So you wanna be a hotelier?"
