Matt Wexler is the co-founder and Managing Partner of Foxhall Partners, which he and his partners organized in 2010. Mr. Wexler oversees Foxhall’s acquisition activities, asset management, including the day-to-day oversight of Foxhall’s hotel portfolio, and debt and equity relationships. Mr. Wexler has over seventeen years of experience in commercial real estate acquisitions, joint ventures and mixed-use development in the Washington, DC market.
Previously, Mr. Wexler was Vice President of Investments at the Bethesda, MD office of CIM Group. Mr. Wexler also served as a Senior Investment Analyst for The JBG Companies (now JBG Smith), a Chevy Chase, MD-based development firm, where he started his career in commercial real estate.
Matt is a member of the D.C. Real Estate Group and the Urban Land Institute, which has invited him to speak at its fall annual meeting, its capital markets interchange and a panel on Adams Morgan neighborhood investment. He is also a board member of the Adams Morgan Partnership Business Improvement District as well as LightHouse DC, a Washington-based non-profit organization that provides the first steps to transitioning from homelessness to a stable home. Mr. Wexler holds a B.A., graduating Magna Cum Laude and with distinction, from Cornell University and an M.B.A. in Real Estate and Finance from the M.I.T. Sloan School of Management.
