Principal,Menin Hospitality

Principal of Menin Hospitality, Keith Menin, is recognized as a leader in the new generation of hoteliers. Keith’s rapidly expanding portfolio of acclaimed destinations is not only pioneering the modern-day preservation of historic properties, but is also providing new distinctive experiences for today’s discerning traveler.

With family roots deeply embedded in South Florida’s hotel industry since the pivotal 1920’s, Miami-born Keith began to learn the fundamentals of a hotelier at a young age. Keith began his hospitality career at 15 years of age while tending the front desk of Shelborne South Beach. His uncle and mentor Russell Galbut was operating the hotel at that time and took him under his wing, exposing him to the regimen of a hotel operator by way of the family business – Crescent Heights, one of the nation’s largest developers and marketers of high-rise, multifamily housing and hotels.

Keith enrolled in the prestigious hotel school Cornell University and upon graduation joined forces with his cousin Jared Galbut who shared in a similar vision for their future within the hotel industry. Before the age of 25, they acquired Sanctuary South Beach and focused their dynamic energy into successfully reinventing the property into a chic 30-room, all-suite boutique hotel and flawlessly executing a luxury, jet setter guest experience.

This opened their eyes to see a niche-market of boutique hotels that not only gave Keith and Jared pride in such prized and often historic properties, but also to see the demand for this hotel model grow in Miami Beach. The duo formed Menin Hospitality and began evolving at an incredible pace. They redeveloped esteemed properties including Bentley South Beach, Shelborne South Beach and Gale South Beach.

Menin Hospitality most recently began managing Shelborne South Beach and Mondrian South Beach, adding two of Miami’s most precious water front properties to their portfolio – one beachfront and one bayside with a vast view of Downtown Miami.
