Jeff has spent the last decade on a mission to help amazing independent hotels stay independent (and amazing).
He founded Stash Hotel Rewards, the award-winning loyalty program for independent hotels across the US, Canada, Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean. Stash helps extraordinary, one-of-a-kind hotels drive direct bookings, recognize their best guests, and compete with chains. US News & World Report has named Stash to its list of “The Best Hotel Loyalty Programs” for each of the last 6 years. And a 2-year study by Cornell University found that a hotel’s guest stays 50% more often and spends $405 to $780 more annually after they join Stash.
Prior to founding Stash, Jeff spent 4 years at Expedia where he built Expedia’s first loyalty program and launched the Expedia MasterCard. Before Expedia, Jeff led the customer experience team during the creation of MLB.com, the consolidated technology, media, and marketing platform for all 30 Major League Baseball teams. He’s also served as a Partner and Head of Production at J Walter Thompson’s digital division.
Jeff is a frequent speaker at hospitality and loyalty conferences and has lectured at the hospitality schools at NYU and Cornell. He’s also the proud coach of remarkably average 11 year-old-girls soccer team. He graduated from Williams College and holds an MBA from Wharton.
