Crystal Vinisse Thomas is a brand marketing professional with over 10 years’ international experience driving brand innovation and operational excellence, crafting memorable guest experiences, creating global brand marketing campaigns, and executing branded events and partnerships.
A veteran hotelier and alumni of Cornell University’s Hotel School, Crystal is a recent transplant to Chicago, now heading up the lifestyle and luxury brands at Hyatt Hotels Corp—including Thompson, Alila, Andaz, Park Hyatt, Hyatt Centric, and Caption by Hyatt—guiding the strategy and vision of an ever-growing portfolio. Most previously, Crystal was based in Los Angeles, as a senior brand marketer for Beats by Dre @ Apple, Inc., overseeing the NBA partnership and all things sports.
For a little work fun, Crystal always jump at the opportunity to serve as a select guest speaker for her company's internal training University and am often called back to Cornell University (her alma mater) to speak to undergraduate students on varying topics, including brand management and career planning.
