Her expertise is a meld of the hospitality and interiors industries. A self-proclaimed hotel junkie, Brigette is proud of her team’s approach to story-driven brand development. She remains a hotelier herself as an owner of The Iron Horse Hotel in Milwaukee and enjoys consulting on interiors and environmental branding. The common thread in her career is an understanding of the luxury market and its demanding consumer base.
Something ILC attendees would never guess about you:
As the granddaughter of a butcher, I’ve helped process a deer – from hide to butcher paper – in a few hours.
Favorite place to stay when traveling:
On a dive boat, anywhere with 85-degree water and a nice current.
MUST have travel item:
A blanket disguised as a Pashmina. I’m always cold, especially on planes.
Who would play you in a movie:
Katey Sagal. My kids tell me she reminds them of me, which is flattering because I think she’s smart, tough and the whole Peg Bundy thing.
Milwaukee Sausage (my family’s business) during the week and a shoe store on weekends. I’m a walking contradiction.
